Dear supporters readers community members and friends Despite all the disruption despite all the uncertainty Street Sense Media has stood steady alongside the men and women we served throughout the last year during the pandemic. We define ourselves by our work talents and character not by our housing.

Street Sense has been changing the story of homelessness in our community since 2003. In addition to selling the newspaper as a means of low-barrier income generation homeless vendors contribute content sharing their stories and breaking down stereotypes. Its biweekly street newspaper features articles and creative writing about poverty and injustice authored by homeless and formerly homeless individuals as well as staff and journalists-in-training who earn an average of 780 per month selling the newspaper in their communities.

Your contribution provides people experiencing homelessness tools to transform their lives. Your kindness and generosity may very well save a life. Since 2003 Street Sense Media has been changing the story of homelessness literally.

Since 2003 we have provided hundreds of men and women with a job. Streetsense is Experience Focused multidisciplinary design and strategy firm specializing in retail restaurant hospitality and real estate solutions. The street media center of our nations capital.
